1 more week, and 2 grace 2007 will be nothing but just a memory...
so here am i, trying my best to reminisce all the beautiful times we had together.. (girls, please don't cry)
the first person i got to know was huimin and madel. i thought hm got AP, but then i realised i was wrong...(and i thought ms yee was very kind and looks like a man. SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH)
we got to know each other more during the ORIENTATION CAMP
i remembered the 1st ice-breaker was "concentration".
yanyi introduced herself like this " hallo, my name is yanyi. as you can see, im from mahabodhi" then someone said" aiyo, i cannot see leh".
i remembered jolin as the bubbly girl in the purple PE shirt. madel is the super enthu and loud girl. yenpeng is the singing bird. mayvis is the cheena girl. liwei is the angmoh girl. shao and jiahong is the homo pair. shaobo is the act cool guy who sang to the councillor.darren(now in dunman high) is the guy with sweaty palm.
on the first day of school, we played MORE icebreakers. i thought chinkoon's name was "chiku" yuxuan's name was "bixuan". the second day was fine. i sat with hm, yanyi, madel, mayvis and shuangyu. we talked and talked and i start liking cch more.ann came a few days later.charmaine, qianyun and cuilin came during our first history lesson. i thought choo was from china!
there were a few conflicts among some at first, but everything got better.. remember how we chased out 2 teachers in less than a week? HA! we made zheng lao shi cry because of our un-seriousness...
the boys like to pick on miss yee when she teach. i remember shao used to ask ms yee to comb her hair when she's teaching. we used to cheer when ms yee dons a new shirt. mayvis is super sensitive to ms yee's perfume. we loved her so much that she's the mascot of our class..
and there was the pasir ris park picnic. we got closer then.. i rented bicycles and played. we picked dead fishes and lots of rubbish and ordered pizza and bla bla bla
and there was drama night. it was a big sucess, even though mr jow gave up on us... i think drama night really bonded us. it really made us know that we're brothers and sisters and not individuals...
at the end of the year, we finally got our HOT PINK class tee. there was no day without fun and laughter in 1grace!
we're finally sec 2... we got less clique-ey then...
at the end of term 1 we had the sec 2 experential camp.
well, its a pity that not all of us can go... but we still had fun... it was the 1st time we wore our class tee and we did got a lot of attention. well, jiaxing, mayvis, I, jolin, charmaine and grace slept together( yes,in this order). jolin had problems waking up! when i tried wake her up, jolin just gave me "the stare"... i got fed up, and just hit her butt real hard... we had GR gatherings ocassionally throughout the camp.. its such a pity that we cant go kayaking together.. right girls? i capsized the kayak 3 times .. i went to pee at the boys toilet and saw 2 boys peeing! (and there was the "fs" incident)
and then i start bringing my own biandang and eating it together with charmaine
and there was annual sports meet. i got pissed off with cake because he stuck bubble gum on my skirt. then i start throwing bottles at him. miraculously, he did'nt throw it back at me. i thought he was a coward, but now, i finally know why he did'nt... and it was during that sports meet, i got my nickname--- OBASANG.. aiyo...
and then there was the geog field trip
i was one of the few ones who brought my bag along. my bag ended up as a sack for carrying MORE THAN 10 NEWATER WATER BOTTLES! aiyo, we're so kiasu
and then there was the history field trip. when we were at the bukit chandu super scary mini-theatre thing, i made yenpeng cry. so sorry man. ( i shone my phone at my face and looked to my left, and suddenly i hear shouting girls! HA!) sorry ah girls. according to grace, shao was also scared by me. i kept blowing shao's neck, and shao thought it was jordan. HA! funny...
and there was the cross country run. we made the GR- band thing to run. its quite sad that we did'nt win the award...
i would like to dedicate this post to all gr people. it really have been 2 rewarding years.. (if i left out any details, pls let me know =D)
